Working for Boxfresh has been pretty exciting, one of the first street clothing brands…If not the first! Whats more it’s a ‘POP UP SHOP.’ All the rage the past few years.
Boxpark was an obvious choice. The site is different from the norm, in that It is made up of individual freight crates, which house each store. The footprint creates a unique setting, this means having to be practical with such a restrictive space and extremely creative with it’s use.
Whats been interesting in this instance, is the requirement from the client, that this Pop Up Shop has to perform as closely as possible to a high street retail outlet…
Creating a full feature footwear wall which was flexible for display, adaptable for new product and customer interaction, was essential. A social board and shared music pod, tells us the story about Boxfresh and how they engage with their customers. This in turn created much needed space on the adjacent wall for hanging apparel and more volume.
We incorporate a subtle blend of, hard clean and wrought brushed stainless steel, with a clean finish on untreated rustic timbers and subtle concrete floors and spray finishes. This environment can age, like the concrete playground in which the brand has it’s root’s and maintains a connection to. Whilst performing at retail standards and having the ability for future connected retail implementation.
